RESPONSIBILITIES
SOUND AND PROJECTIONS DESIGNER
For this production, I served as Sound and Projections Designer. My Design primarily focused on creating an environment for the play to take place in, due to the limited nature of our set. Primarily, my preshow soundscape transitioned from a calm and peaceful beach into a chaotic soundscape of war and turmoil to bring us to the start of the play, the night after the women of troy have been ensalved. I also worked with our director Kerry Prep, to create instrumental tracks for each of the gods.
My work on this show included:
- Linking focusrite interfaces to be able to use muultiple outputs in Q-lab to create localized sound in my soundscapes.
- Finding and mounting a projector and masking around the sail
- Creating a soundscape that tells the story leading up to the start of the play for preshow
